Description:
Retention Rates: The percentage of students who registered in the fall term who also registered the following fall term.
Graduation Rates: The percentage of a freshman cohort that graduates within a subsequent number of years.

- Comprehensive Undergraduate Retention and Graduation Rates (New and Transfer)
- This dashboard provides retention and graduation rates for undergraduate students and offers three views:
- Fall 2022 Cohort and One-Term Retention: Cohort counts by demographics as well as Fall 2022 to Spring 2023 retention rates. The cohort in this view includes first-time and transfer students.
- Retention and Graduation Rates for First-Time Students: Fall to fall retention rates and graduation rates for first-time undergraduate students.
- Retention and Graduation Rates for Transfer Students: Fall to fall retention rates and graduation rates for transfer undergraduate students. This does not include transfer students who previously earned a Bachelor’s degree.

- This dashboard provides retention and graduation rates for graduate students and offers two views:
- Retention and Graduation Rates for Masters Students: Fall to fall retention rates and graduation rates for masters students.
- Retention and Graduation Rates for Doctoral Students: Fall to fall retention rates and graduation rates for doctoral students.

Reports and dashboards are updated annually in November.
Data Source:
Fall cohorts are based on the official fall student enrollment census. Graduation info is based on OIEP’s official degree conferred data.
